Don Barnes, whose voice has not lost its edge, sounds as good as it gets. The highs are still there, and unlike other bands, the singing is not getting rough.
Donnie Van Zant looks like he is absolutely having the time of his life, along with the rest of the band who are energetic and not just going through the motions.
The openning act, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, put on a great show, with a horn section and some bluesy notes. Johnny can still sing, and the band seemed forged in live performance, playing off each other spontaneously.
